Job Description
The Director of Product will lead the product vision, strategy, and execution working closely with the
CEO and CTO. While we will continue to build on the momentum of our flagship data product, SponsorPulse, the product roadmap will reflect an ecosystem of data-driven insight products that deliver value to the modern-day marketer.
This is the right role for a product leader who wants to leave a lasting mark, enjoys going from macro strategy to micro execution, and who enjoys the challenge of balancing the needs of the business with those of our users. As the first product leader in the organization, you will have the opportunity to build the product mindset with the support of technology, customer success, growth, and revenue teams.
Your product mindset, creative thinking, and user-first mentality will allow us to accelerate the growth of our suite of products and evolve the experience to deliver data-driven insights that marketers can use with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Vision and Strategy: Develop the product vision and strategy to deliver on the company’s mission to arm modern day marketers with insights to make decisions with confidence.
Planning & Roadmap: Create and own the product roadmap and collaborate with the CTO on resource needs and allocation to deliver. Prioritizing features and initiatives based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
Product Discovery: As the product owner you will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, like our Customer Success team, and external customers to contribute to the discovery of key features that will drive business value and product usability.
Product Launches: Planning and executing product launches, including communication strategies, marketing campaigns, and customer education.
Holistic User Experience Design: As an advocate for the end user, you will focus on making SponsorPulse’s products more intuitive, consistent, and personalized – getting them to the insight they need faster.
Prototyping: Working with our design resources, you will brief the creation of mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, proof of concepts that deliver on the product vision.
User testing and feedback: You will be responsible for determining and leading user validation and analysis where required and helping to refine the customer feedback loop.
Metrics and Analytics: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of product initiatives.
Interaction and Visual Design: Championing a user-centric approach you will own design problems end-to-end to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Information Architecture: Own how information and features are structured and organized within SponsorPulse’s products.
Creative Problem Solving: Bring innovative and creative ideas to the team for consideration on ways to improve the user experience throughout the entire customer journey.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement to drive product growth and competitiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in briefs with cross-functional team members on new feature rollouts or user experience improvements that will help improve the product, while providing your expertise on how we can design, test, and refine designs before implementation.
Delivery & Time Management: Proactively manage the delivery of stories to the technical team for implementation to deliver on key product roadmap milestones.
